The very first Senior Sunday of the Class of 2026 is here, and it was such a treat to kick things off with Ellie’s session at Valley Forge National Park. With school starting tomorrow, this felt like the perfect way to celebrate the transition from summer to senior year. Ellie had a vision for her session that included three distinct looks, and together we made it happen in one stunning location.
For her first look, Ellie wore her cap and gown, marking the official start of her senior year journey. Even though graduation may feel far away right now, senior photos are about capturing every milestone along the way. Against the timeless architecture of Valley Forge, her cap and gown portraits were both classic and meaningful, a reminder of the big moment that’s waiting at the finish line.
Ellie’s second look was a gorgeous, flowy dress that felt like it was made for the park’s open fields and golden light. The natural beauty of Valley Forge gave us endless backdrops, from tree-lined paths to wide-open meadows. These images are soft, elegant, and full of the quiet luxury vibe that so many of my seniors love. It’s the perfect way to capture a side of her personality that’s confident and graceful.
The third look was a nod to Ellie’s everyday life and her passions. She brought her golf team uniform and her school blazer, which is part of her daily school uniform. This made her session uniquely hers, blending personal style with meaningful details that tell the story of her high school experience. The blazer in particular brought a classic, polished element to her portraits, showing that senior photos don’t have to be limited to just one “look.”
What made Ellie’s session so special is how seamlessly we were able to bring these three looks together in one place. Valley Forge National Park is one of my favorite spots as a Philadelphia Senior Photographer because it offers both architectural structure and natural scenery.
